About DentaTrak
Dental case tracking built from inside a dental practice.
DentaTrak was developed by Dr. William Verrillo, a practicing dentist, after seeing firsthand how easily complex cases can lose visibility as they move between the practice, labs, referrals, follow-ups, and final delivery.
It started with a simple problem: keeping track of the case after it leaves the chair.
Dr. Verrillo encountered the problem while working with actual dental cases. A patient may have a treatment plan and appointments properly documented in the practice-management system, while the physical case itself is moving through preparation, labs, outside referrals, follow-ups, staff handoffs, due dates, appointments, revisions or remakes, and final delivery.
The challenge is knowing where each case stands across that process. Information can end up distributed across PMS notes, spreadsheets, inboxes, conversations, and staff memory.
The problem often isn't that the information doesn't exist. It's that there isn't one simple operational view showing where the case is, who is responsible, what happens next, whether something is becoming late, and whether the case will be ready for the patient's appointment. DentaTrak was created to solve that.
Dr. William Verrillo, DDS
Dr. William Verrillo is a practicing dentist at Premier Implant and Denture Center in Garden City, Georgia. He earned his DDS from Creighton University School of Dentistry and has advanced training in implant dentistry, 3D printing, and digital smile design. His firsthand experience coordinating complex cases across practice teams, laboratories, referrals, files, and patient appointments helped shape DentaTrak.

DentaTrak was never intended to replace the practice-management system. A PMS remains responsible for patient records, scheduling, billing, and clinical information.
DentaTrak focuses on the operational journey of the case itself: where cases stand, who is responsible, what's coming due, and what needs attention. This focused scope is intentional. DentaTrak complements the systems a practice already uses rather than requiring them to be replaced.
